Before you embark on a purchase, there are a few things you need to clarify. The number of bikes is of course important, but you also need to consider the weight of the bikes.

Electric bikes typically weigh more than regular bikes, as a rule of thumb you can say that an electric bike weighs around 20 kg, if you want to be absolutely sure of the weight of your bike, feel free to ask in the shop or contact customer service.

The load capacity of most bike racks is set at 60 kg, and this is a limit you should pay close attention to for safety reasons. If you want free access to the trunk, consider a bike rack with a tilt function. If you have plenty of space at home you can choose a bike carrier, if your space is limited you should consider a foldable bike carrier.
