Need energy for cycling?
It's very individual which energy products work best. However, one thing is clear: energy gels are fast-acting and therefore a great boost before and during the ride. They're easy to drink on the ride, which is why many mountain bikers and road cyclists often carry several of them in their cycling gear pockets. Energy bars are also great for cycling. Energy bars work a little slower than gels. On the other hand, they are often rich in carbohydrates, which is perfect when you need to replenish your energy reserves. It can also be beneficial to drink electrolyte tabs during cycling training, as they help with your body's fluid and salt balance to avoid dehydration.
