Racing tires primarily come in three sizes; 700x23C, 700x25C and 700x28C. These are the three most commonly used sizes for racing bikes. The vast majority of racing tires come with a puncture protection insert to avoid annoying punctures on your ride. Schwalbe and Continental are two of the most popular manufacturers of racing tires; and for good reason. They combine low weight and rolling resistance with good puncture protection.
