Justin, the founder of Sundaybikes and former pro, had issues with BMX bikes being too heavy. He wanted to make a BMX that was lighter without compromising on quality. With that in mind, Sunday was founded in 2005. He took on the weight-versus-durability battle and we can only say he's done a great job.

Not safe to ride a BMX bike

There are risks involved in riding a BMX. Therefore, always make sure to wear safety equipment - a helmet and leg and hand protectors as a minimum. After a ride in the asphalt, it is recommended to inspect the bike for damage and check if anything is loose in the form of screws or anything else. If there are any signs of damage to the bike, such as it's about to break - get it replaced, as continuing to ride with broken parts can be a disaster.
