The Gazelle Makki Load comes with an optional battery pack and stepless internal gears, making this cargo bike ideal for long trips in the city or on relatively flat stretches. The bike is easily stopped with the hydraulic brakes on the 20" front wheel with suspension and the 26" rear wheel. The tires are naturally puncture-resistant so you don't have to drag the bike home.
Bosch Performance Line motor
The Gazelle Makki Load cargo bike comes with a Bosch center motor. It is their Performance Line Gen3 with a whopping 65Nm. In other words, it can pull the heavy cargo bike and offers no resistance if you turn off the engine. The motor is easily controlled on the Bosch Purion display, which is mounted on the handlebar and provides a good and simple overview.
