Remember to clean the discs well
Whether you're replacing brake pads because they're worn or because they're squealing, we always recommend that you at least clean your brake discs well if you don't change them. For this, we recommend either the most effective chain cleaner from Morgan Blue or the more environmentally friendly Muc-Off.
How to best activate your brake pads on your ride
- On moderate descents, apply the brakes for 20-30 seconds, 2-3 times each
- On steeper descents, brake 10-15 seconds, repeat 2-3 times
